privacy

This notice follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where visitors from the EEA are concerned, the GDPR.

Short version

This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics or tracking, and carries no advertising. Fonts are served from this domain, not from Google. The SoundCloud and YouTube players load only once you click them. Personal data is collected only when you submit one of the forms.

Who is responsible

The controller for data collected through this site is the operator of drowntda.com, reachable at info@drowntda.com. Requests about your data are received and answered at that address.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). Loading a page processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, file requested, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system. This serves secure operation and defence against attacks, and is not combined with other sources. Legal basis: the overriding interest in a site that works and stays online (Art. 31 FADP, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

This involves transferring data to the USA. The transfer relies on the provider’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, on the EU–U.S. and Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Forms

The site has three forms: the free drum kit form, the collab form and the shoutbox. They are processed through Netlify Forms. What you type is stored at Netlify and forwarded by email.

Legal basis: your consent and the handling of your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). Write to info@drowntda.com at any time to have your entry deleted. Every form contains a hidden anti-spam field that collects no personal data.

Embedded content

The SoundCloud and YouTube players are not loaded until you click them. Before that click, nothing is requested from those providers. Afterwards they receive your IP address and browser data and may set cookies; their own privacy policies apply. YouTube is embedded in no-cookie mode.

Sales and delivery

Beats are sold through BeatStars, digital products through Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. Purchase, payment and invoice data are processed by those providers under their own privacy policies.

Retention

Form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle your request or send the drum kit, then deleted. Server logs are deleted automatically by the hosting provider after a short period.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing. One email toinfo@drowntda.com is enough.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority — in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EEA the authority responsible for where you live.

Changes

This notice is updated when the site or the services it uses change. The version published here is the one that applies.
